Transfer problem...please help!

I have Super-8 film footage that was shot at 24fps. The projector that I'm using to transfer the film to Beta SP can only go 20fps. This will cause me to lose frames. What will this look like on the Beta SP tape? Will this add or decrease length on the tape?

at 20fps, the film is travelling slower so your film will be longer when transferred. If my maths is right (rarely) then it will be 24/20 times longer = 1.2 times. Every minute of original footage will be lengthened to 72 seconds @20fps

if you are transferring 'off the wall' then things will probably look OK on tape, although you may get increased flicker depending on the projector/screen quality.
